Micro blogging platforms like Twitter have become important information-gathering platforms for gauging public mood or to find out what people think.
Recently i came across the concepts of Opinion mining, Sentiment Analysis and machine learning using python, got opportunity to work on the project and want to share my experience.
Opinion mining and Sentiment Analysis
Opinion mining has been used to know about what people think about the particular topic in social media platforms. Many users share their opinions on different aspects of life every day, due to this many companies and media organizations increasingly seek way to mine information for their use.
Efficient techniques are used to collect a huge amount of social media data and the way to extract meaningful information from them.
This article aims to analyse the text in order to extract people’s opinions and to provide more expressive, clear and accurate opinions to the users about the topic in trend and deals with the challenges that appear in the process of Sentiment Analysis, real time tweets are considered as they are rich sources of data for opinion mining and sentiment analysis.
